How to Reset the Browser Settings in a Registry.



Instructions


1   Close all applications and program windows.

2. Click "Start" in Windows XP and select "Run" from the list. Click the Windows logo button in Windows 7 and Vista. Type "inetcpl.cpl" in the "Run" box in XP and the "Search files" box in Vista and Windows 7. Press "Enter."

  • 3    Click the "Advanced" tab in the "Internet Properties" box.
  • 4   Click the "Reset" button in the "Reset Internet Explorer Settings" section. In the "Reset Internet Explorer Settings" pop-up box, click the "Delete personal settings" check box if you choose to reset settings like the browser start page, temporary Internet files, history and saved passwords. Click the "Reset" button.
  • 5  Click "Close" in the "Reset Internet Explorer Settings" box to exit out of the "Internet Properties" box.
